I'm getting Married! That's right I am getting married. Suzy is a cute red head.  I met her in Target the other day. We love each other so much.

If you are still reading this, please know I am not getting married. Everything on this site can't be taken as fact. I am not CNN. I write about what I want to write about, after all it is LOW. I am Wilde and it's my life to write about. I love and appreciate all of you who read LOW. For real, I really appreciate everyone who subscribes, BUT you can't take it like it's all real. Your not always going to agree with what I write, but there is a easy way around that. Just like when you don't like or agree with something on CNN you can click on something else. Let's talk about Little Blonde. Even though she has kids (3) and I am not sure that's what I want - I will stand by these facts:  she is beautiful, sweet, smart, sexy, hot and willing to learn which is one of her most appealing qualities. At this stage in the game I can see that she is scarily different from me. Individually she's different, her family life is different, her social life is different, everything is different.  She is not someone I would've probably picked out. And I am not someone she would've picked me out.  But for some  reason that is what is very appealing to me about her. More later. Enjoy the weekend

Blind Date Number Two

Wow, relationships take a lot of work! I have been single for so long, I had forgotten how much time, energy, and effort it takes to be in a relationship. You know that book "Men are from Mars,Women are from Venus"? Well that is very true, it is likely far more then just entirely different planets.

So today I went out with blind date number two. A friend of mine knew her from work and thought we would be a good match. I must say she was very beautiful.  She has one daughter, and has been married one time. She's fun, up beat, and unique. I'm not sure yet how to expand on the unique. But something about her is definitely unique.  She's got that hair and she's about my height and she seems smart. I am flying out to Fayetteville, Arkansas tomorrow, but  I fly back in on Friday. She insisted on picking me up from the airport. 

I am not sure what her nickname will be yet. I know some of you do not like these nicknames, but I am forced to use them to protect the guilty, excuse me protect the innocent on this website.

Those of you that know me or who read this blog have heard me say this 1000 times and boy is it true now. The biggest reason I never wanted to get married is because I don't feel like the other person would commit as strongly as I would commit. Again, the definition of commitment is doing the thing you said you would do long after the feeling you said it in has left. So this is a perfect example of this. My belief is  unless and until two people can agree on the definition of commitment, you're truly not in a committed relationship. You may perceive you're in a committed relationship, but remember there is no reality only perception.

Anybody out there have any ideas on the word expectations? Because that word, expectations, seems to be the common theme that is wrong with relationships, I believe. Either yours or her expectations are not met. And when that happens one gets their feelings hurt, which then results in  anger or fear and/or meanness. All over expectations? Where do we get  these expectations? Seriously anybody any ideas out there?

I will tell more later but for now here it is. I was set up with Little Blonde (yes she has a nickname already) by I friend. Let me stop here and say, she is little and she is Blonde. Which is a compliment! We went to lunch with two of her friends on Wednesday. We made a deal though to go out on a "real date" on Friday. Just the two of us. To be honest, I did not have very high hopes for this. She just did not seem my type. But everyone has been telling me to be more open minded.

She has a VERY different life than me but I think I can learn somthing from her. In closing, I will say, she has some things in her life that would prevent me or "US" from being number one.
That is very new to me. I always wanted someone that I could make number one and me be number one with them. BUT I am staying open at this point. Because what I have been doing has not been working!
I like being around her. More later........

Concert

Last week I went to Austin for the day to see Taylor Swift, Kellie Pickler, Gloriana. It was great!!!

Side note: It was in the middle of the week and Little Blonde could not go. This is where I hope I can learn that whom ever I date may not be able to go everywhere I do.

Ok back to the Concert. Great!!! I love Kellie Pickler!!! I was back stage with Taylor Swift. She is very tall. And she is a lot cuter than I thought. She plays for 2 straight hours. Check this Out!

Many of you know about my truck (Black Beauty). Well after 35 different kinds of cars with flashing lights(cops,DPS,Firetrucks,ambulances) Black Beauty is now resting in peace. I had lots and lots of fun times in her.

Business Idea?

Business Idea?

Something interesting happened to me today, and it triggered a business idea. I was talking to a friend of mine, and he said he had to go and would call me back, so I said goodbye. One thing I do, that a lot of people don't know is I usually don't hang up. I keep listening to see if they hang up, and if they don't sometimes I can get some scoop.

Well that is exactly what happened in this instance. He thought he had ended the conversation and put his cell phone in his pocket and proceeded into a vehicle maintenance shop. What he didn't know was I was still listening and wrong or right it was very interesting. Yes, listening to someone talk to a maintenance man about replacing his brake pads and tire rods was very, very entertaining to the point that I could not hang up. When he left the vehicle maintenance shop he even talked to himself, and sang a little song to himself,"vehicle maintenance 8 AM on Monday." He gets his phone out to call me back only to find out that I am still on the line. We both had a great laugh over this.

This is where the business idea hit me.

Let me say this first, there are people all the time that say, "Why would you want to put your life on the Internet? Why would you want to broadcast yourself? Who wants to read about your life or listen to your life?"

Well those are all very valid points. So let me state some facts from a business perspective. Remember this is coming from a business perspective. Reality shows are the hottest thing on TV right now. Any of you that know me know about Leo Laporte which has twit.tv. So what is the point you ask? The point is we all want in on other people's lives. Its the voyeur in all of us. And I don't want an 8 to 5 job with an hour for lunch and have to do that five days a week. And then let someone tell me when I can go on vacation or have time off. So with that being said this is my "strictly from a business perspective" idea.

What if there was a live stream on the Internet, lets just say Life of Wilde for example. Now let me add one other thing right here, whenever I'm at the office, or for that much, sometimes just driving down the road, I will tune in to hear what Leo is saying. He streams everything that goes on inside his office whether he's doing a show or not. So sometimes literally he's just talking to his staff about the weather. Why do I find that interesting and tune in? I'm not sure but I know I'm not the only one. There are thousands of people that do too.

So now back to my point what if I simply carried my iPhone around all day in my front pocket that fed all of the audio to a website that a person could go to and listen in. Let me give you an example, what do Amber and I talk about when I'm at the gym working out, then next to the counselor what is said in that room for that hour that week, next to the office where my wonderful staff resides how do I treat them and what tone of voice do I use? What tone of voice did they use back? What do I say when I go and visit the stadiums and acquire the stadium accounts? Ever wonder what I say to the girls when no one is in the house with me?

(Just so you know the girls are my two dogs Mattie and Pacey. Yes, believe it or not I have conversations with them from time to time, and admittedly the conversations are pretty much one-sided but I still have them nevertheless.)

Anyway, I would love to hear any comments that you might have on this little idea that I've come up with. And while I'm waiting on your wonderful positive comments, I will be checking with my legal team tomorrow to see if doing such a thing is legal or if I would have to get permission from each person that is in the stream.

Last thing

I'll say, tomorrow I'm doing something that I ordinarily do not. I'm going on a date. Yes, you read this correctly I am going on a date. If you knew what time the date was would any of you be intrigued enough to listen in and see how first dates go?

Suicide=Girl

Singer Marie Osmond and her family are mourning the death of their 18-year-old son, who in the face of depression committed a tragic suicide last Friday. Reports say Osmond's son Michael Blosil leaped from the 8th floor of his apartment building to death.

The 18-year-old son reportedly left a suicide note behind for a "female friend" to find, says TMZ.com. Reports are coming together saying the friend of Osmond's son received a text from him about 30 minutes before plunging from the apartment building saying he had left a note for her.

The note, left for his "only friend in the city", listed the last things he had planned on doing in his life.

Here is my take.
1. I love Marie Osmond. The first CD I ever bought was one from Marie Osmond.


2.  Is it just me or does it seem like a lot of the time when you hear about guys committing suicide it's over a girl? But just as interesting when you hear about a girl committing suicide it's not necessarily over a boy? That's my perception anyway. I guess  girls deal with their feelings and emotions better than guys. 


3. Let's take that one step further.  It also seems that when you hear of guys being addicts or alcoholics, they will say the pain they're trying to mask was over a girl. Due to my past, I have been to many AA meetings. And they are 90% guys, and I hear what they say. So once again it seems like guys in general don't deal with emotional stress as well as girls seem to handle it.


4.  I can remember thinking when I broke up with some of my exes it was like they just moved on, just like that, just like nothing had ever happened. Wow, I wish I could do that.


5.  Last thing I will say in this quick little note is, I'm sorry I haven't been writing as much on this blog as I have in the past. And I'm more sorry for me than I am for you. This blog has been wonderful for me to express my thoughts and feelings and emotions. And I have decided that I am going to continue to express my thoughts and emotions here in this forum called Life of Wilde. And it's completely optional for you to come to this website and read what I have to say. It's also completely optional to subscribe to get the latest updates.


6.  I said last thing before but this really is the last thing. Another reason you haven't heard from me very much on this blog, is I have not been well. I may choose to expand on this later but I'm not comfortable discussing it as of right now.  Let's put it this way, you don't want what I have, and I don't want what I have.
