like it or not here it comes

Well, we're about a month away from what I believe is my 15th year in the stadium business. Wow, I can't believe it's been 15 years. And also can't believe that I'm starting my 15th year with five stadiums. That's right five. The most I've ever had at one time was four and that was when I had an active partner. This time it's five and just me. This should be very interesting.

Well, you guessed it, more shakeups at the Wildeco corporate office with the staff. One of my long-time, accounting assistants just decided the other day to walk into my office and turn in her two-week notice. Of course she says it's nothing personal, but what's different this time is I actually believe her. She has stayed three weeks and has been a total gigantic help in finding a new person for me and training her.

The new person's first day is tomorrow and then the old person, which I will let remain anonymous, is going to come back at the end of the week and check on her. So out of all the transitions of staff that I've had, I must say this person left with the most class, integrity, honesty, and even the right reasons. She is wanting to go into a different line of work, and as I told her, I like her and will support whatever will make her happy. But I will say, and a lot of you will not understand this at all because you're not in my shoes, but when you live alone and you go into an office every day you get used to seeing the same people and you can't help but form some sort of relationship with them. She even teared up as she was telling me. But as with all things time will fix it all.

I haven't posted in a while but I remember seeing this comment either on the blog or on twitter or could be on Facebook. By the way, let's take a slight detour and let me explain something. When I post something on this blog, lifeofwilde.com or when I tweet something on twitter it automatically posts to Facebook. So a lot of the times people were leaving me comments on Facebook but to be honest, I don't really check Facebook that often.

Okay, now back to what I was saying, I remember seeing this comment either on the blog, twitter or somewhere, someone said back to me I should get out of West Texas more often. Well whomever this person is obviously doesn't know me that well. I am out of West Texas more than I'm in West Texas. In fact, last year I made gold on American Airlines. I didn't even know there was such a thing just at the end of the year I got this big packet that said congratulations you're now gold. As a side note, being gold is a pretty darn good thing, free luggage, upgrades to first class, and priority seating. It's a pretty damn good thing. And just to go on, I'm on track to make not just gold this year but to make platinum on American Airlines. So not to go on and on about this but I just thought that comment was funny, you should get out of West Texas more, when I would venture to say I'm out of West Texas a lot more than this person is.

There will be more later. Check out the new website Arizona Seatbacks
