Shania Twain 24 days (Part 1)

Part 1

Okay if you don't already know, I am a huge Shania Twain fan. When I found out she was going to be in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace for two years I came up with an idea. Here's the plan. I am going to see her four different times with four different people. And the first time is in 24 days. My friend, James Blakemore, and I are going to see her on December fifth and sixth. This sort of reminds me of the tour she did to promote her album UP.

But let's start at the very beginning with this Shania thing. I had what I would call my first serious girlfriend. And she liked the song "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?" This was in 1995. This was before I started nicknaming people. And I don't want to name her on the blog so we will call her RH. That relationship came and went. But we are still friends and still talk to each other to this day. That song was on Shania second album. Titled "The Woman In Me".

Then along comes her blockbuster album titled "Come On Over". And the song that totally hooked me was "Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)." Come On Over was released November 4, 1997. It became the best-selling album of all time by a female act in any genre and the best-selling country album of all time. It sold over 40 million copies worldwide. I guess I wasn't the only one who liked it. So that brings me to going to her first concert. I was in California visiting some family........ part 2 coming soon
