Educational vs Intellectual - Part 2

One of my weaknesses is spelling and grammar. You say in your comment you just felt like I hadn't been challenged to my max. That is what teachers had been telling me my entire life in regards to spelling and grammar. I heard such things as ‘Johnny you just need to apply yourself, just sound it out, just put in a little bit of effort' and so on. I actually believed all those things for a long time. Quick little story. When I was in high school one of my favorite country music groups was Restless Heart. They had many number one songs such as ‘The Bluest Eyes in Texas’, ‘That Rock Won't Roll’ and so on. I remember calling the local country music station for the first time to request a song. The DJ herself answered and I said ‘Would you please play ‘Say What's in Your Heart’ by Restless Heart' and she said sure if you'll say it just like that on the air. You have great energy. I was terrified but I did agree. She put me on hold and in a few seconds she said ‘We have Johnny Wilde from Wall, Texas requesting a song, Johnny, and I said would you play 'Say What's in Your Heart’ by Restless Heart and she said you got it.
